I have always been drawn to animals all my life. Throughout my last year of high school up to now I’ve worked part time at a boarding facility and daycare for dogs. After graduating high school in 2016, I attended the University of Alberta for a couple years towards a psychology degree, however, I quickly decided that path wasn’t for me. Since then I have now started my first year in the Animal Health Technology program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. I chose to work in the veterinary field because working with animals brings me immense joy. Keeping our clients' animals healthy and happy is very important to me.
Many aspects of veterinary medicine interest me, but currently I am most interested in animal behaviour. My favourite part about working at Mission Ridge are all the welcoming coworkers, clients, and of course all the cuddles from the animals that come in!
An interesting fact about me is that my sister, both parents and myself are all born on the 21st of a different month! And I am the only left-handed person on both sides of my family.
