Dr. Jessica Woods

Veterinarian

I graduated in 2002 and joined Mission Ridge Animal Hospital in 2013. An area of interest for me is dentistry, internal medicine and senior pets. My favourite thing about the clinic is the team approach and the cooperative and friendly atmosphere. My first pet was a Dwarf rabbit, named Dusty. What I love most of my job is being a medical ‘detective,’ trying to figure out what is wrong with my patients when they cannot tell me how they feel. A fun fact about me is that I volunteer for Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton regularly and get to examine a huge variety of wildlife, from eagles to tiny sparrows.
