Abandoned Cat Update

We would like to update you on how the 2 cats that were abandoned in our parking lot this summer are doing. As many of you are aware we had 2 cats left in our parking lot by our dumpster in a big plastic tub that was duct taped shut.

We are happy to share the news that both Fluffy and Oscar are doing well in their new homes. Oscar’s eye has healed and he is doing very well, enjoying his golden years in a caring and loving home. Fluffy has a new family that is spoiling him and enjoying his playful personality.

The team at Mission Ridge Animal Hospital would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who reached out to help with the cats. We had many phone calls offering to adopt the cats as well as donations of money and toys to assist in their care. We are very happy to be part of the wonderful, generous and supportive community of St. Albert.

From the team at Mission Ridge a huge thank you for your support. With your help we were able to turn an almost tragic event into a new beginning for Fluffy and Oscar. We wish you all a health happy fall season!
