In 2021 I started my first job at a pet store, caring for a variety of animals and exotics. After two years there, my passion for animals grew even more. This led me to pursue an education in the veterinary field, and in June 2023, I graduated with honors from Norquest College’s Veterinary Office Assistant program. Throughout the 12-week course, I gained knowledge in medical terminology, customer service, and proper animal restraint.
What I love most about my job is building special bonds with patients and their owners. Each day brings something new, and it never gets boring! My biggest interest in the veterinary field is rehab, as it’s incredibly rewarding to watch our patients’ healing process from start to finish.
