Jessica Woods graduated from WCVM in Saskatoon in 2002. She practiced in several places on the West Coast before settling in Alberta in 2008. She has been at Mission Ridge Animal Hospital since 2012 where she greatly enjoys the relationships she has built with her clients that now extend over multiple generations of pets!
She has an interest in pain management and dentistry and strives to improve the quality of life of older pets. Jessica became certified in veterinary acupuncture in 2017 and loves having this new ‘tool in her toolbox’ to treat pain and neurological conditions. Jessica also has a passion for nature and wildlife and volunteers regularly for the local wildlife rehabilitation society (Wild North) helping a wide variety of creatures in need!
