I graduated in 2009 and joined the clinic the same year. An area of interest for me is anesthesiology and my favourite thing about Mission Ridge Animal Hospital is the team atmosphere. My first pet was a yellow Labrador-mix named Julie! What I love most about my job is the diversity that my job brings. Animals come in all shapes and sizes, with different issues every day. Some are nice and some are angry, some are strong and some are fragile. Often, they don’t know what they are doing here and are scared. I enjoy being able to work with them and give them as good of an experience as possible.
A fun fact about me is that my ideal evening-in would involve sitting on the couch in front of the television, watching a romantic comedy. A warm cat would be curled on my lap, a cup of tea close by, and a fun knitting project to work on. Sometimes I feel like an 80-year-old in a 20-year old’s body.
